power:- Energy consumed per unit second or the rate at which the work is done is called power
P = W/t
P = 500W = 0.5KW
Time = 2 × 10 = 20h
P = W/t
W = Pt
W = 0.5 × 20
W = 10KWh
We know that 1000W = 1KW = 1unit
therefore 10×1 = 10unit of energy is consumed by electric kettle
