Current drawn
P=vi
I =p/v
1 .220/2.2=100A

2. Energy consumed
220*3*2.2 = 1452
i.e, 1.452*104

(Pls check the second part)

Hope it helps

When an electric kettle rated at 220 volts 2.2 kilowatt works for 3 hours, 6.6 kWh of energy consumed with 10 amp of the current drawn.

Given:

V = 220 V

P = 2.2 kW = 2200 W

T = 3 hr

Solution:

Since the electrical energy consumed = P x t

Plug the values in the formula:

Energy consumed = 2.2 × 3 = 6.6 kWh

We know that P = V × I

Plug the given values:

P = V × I

2200 W = 220 V × I

Hence,

I = 10 amp
