Total resistance=4.8 ohm
Total current=2.5A
It is connected in parallel so same p.d. will flows.

chetanbhadran: Resistance is 0.20833333.......
sahirkhan9596: P.d will be 15 volts as there in condecter is asked
sahirkhan9596: I=2.5,R=6...........V=I*R=====2.5*6=15V

Answer:

1.4.8\Omega

2. 2.5 A

3. 12 V

Explanation:

The electric lamp is connected in parallel with the conductor, The net resistance is given by:

R = \frac{R_1R_2}{ R_1+R_2}\\R_1=24\Omega \\R_2=6\Omega\\R = \frac{24\times6}{24+6} = 4.8\Omega

Total current in the circuit:

From Ohm's Law

I = \frac{V}{R}

I = {12V}{4.8\Omega}=2.5 A

In a parallel circuit, the potential difference across each component is same. Thus, potential difference across the conductor = 12 V
