R1 =20ohm, R2 = 4ohm
(i) total resistance (R) = R1+R2 =20+4 = 24ohm
(ii) total current (I) = V/R = 6/24 = 0.25
(iii) PD across electric lamp = I×R = 0.25×20 = 5v
