to a 60 V battery in series.
a) Draw a circuit to represent.
b) What is the total resistance?
c) What is the potential difference across the electric lamp?

hey mate!! here is ur answers..

(a) is in attachment
(b) R=(20+4)ohm
=24 ohm
(c) I=v/R
I=60/24
I=15/6A or 2.5A

Now, p. d across the electric lamp:-

v=I.R
=(15/6.20)V
=50V
