An electric lamp whose resistance is 20 ohm and a conductor of 4ohm resistance are connected to a 6v battery calculate the total resistance of the circuit.

R1 20 ohm
R2 4 ohm

In series 20+4=24 ohm
In parallel 1/20+1/4=1/R
R=3.3 ohm
