Hope it's correct as I haven't studied this chapter till now though I have studied in 10th only

. .

Bro I have written wrong it will be 0.25×20=5V

and 0.25×4=1V

Answer:

Total Resistance of circuit is 24 ohm in which the potential difference of 5 V is across electric lamp of conductor.

Explanation:

Solution:

Given:

Voltage of battery, i.e. V = 6 V

Resistance of electric lamp, i.e. R

1

= 20 ohm

Resistance for the conductor connected in series = R

2

= 4 ohm

Total Resistance R =R1 +R2

= 20 + 4 = 24

As we know, according to the ohm’s law, I = frac{V}{R} = \frac6×24=0.25 AI=VR 24×6

=0.25A

Potential difference V across electric conductor=

1

V=0.25×20

V=5V
