Answer:

voltage= current x resistance

so current to= voltage/resistance

here voltage= 9v

resistance= 6+30=36 ohm

current= 9/36=0.25 ampere

Given :  an electric lamp whose resistance is 30 ohm and the conductor of 6 ohm resistance are connected in a series of 9 volt battery

To Find :  the total current flowing in the circuit is

Solution:

an electric lamp   resistance is  30 Ω

Another  resistance is  6  Ω

Both are in series

Hence total Resistance = 30 + 6  = 36  Ω

I = V/R

I = Current  = ?

V = Voltage  = 9 V

R = Resistance  =  36  Ω

=> I = 9/36

=> I = 0.25A

total current flowing in the circuit is 0.25A
