The length of the wire that is wound over the rod in one second is 10 πm

Given-

  • Number of turns wound over the rod = 200
  • Diameter of rod = 10 cm
  • Radius of the rod = 5 cm = 0.05 m
  • Time = 2 seconds

Distance is equals to the circumference

Distance = 2πr = 2π (0.05) = 0.1 π m

Length of the wire in one second is = distance/ time

Length = N × 2πr/2

Length = 200 ×0.1 π /2 = 10 πm.

Answer:

10πm

Explanation:

the radius = 10/2 = 5

the circumference =  2xπx5

= 10π

this is for one second
