The ratio of the height of the pole to length of its shadow should be equal to the ratio of the height of the tree to lenghth of its shadow.

Let the height of the tree be h

⇒ 14/10 = h/15
⇒        h  = (14/10) x 15
           h = 21 m
∴ The height of the tree is 21 m

Answer:

Here's a form a table as shown above

Let the height of the tree be x metres .

Note that more the height of an object,the more would be the length of its shadow.

Hence,this is a case of direct Proportion.

We have

 \frac{14}{10}  =  \frac{x}{15}

 =  >  \frac{14}{10}  \times 15 = x

 =  >  \frac{14 \times 3}{2}  = x

 =  > x = 21

Thus, height of the tree is 21 meters.
