Solutions :-

Given :
An electric pole 20 m high Casts a shadow of 12 m.

Let the height of the tree be x

According to the question,

=> 20/12 = x/24
=> 20 × 24 = x × 12
=> 480 = 12x
=> 480/12 = x = 40


Hence,
The height of tree that cast a shadow of 24 m under similar conditions = 40 m
