Part of tank filled by the pump in one hour = 1/3
Let, Part of the tank emptied by the leak = x
so, in 3.5 hours,
3.5(x+1/3) = 1 ( 1 means whole tank is filled)
x+1/3 = 10/35
x= 1/21
21 X 1/21 = 1
To completely empty the tank it will take 21 hours
