an electric refrigerator rate 400 watt operates 8 hour per day .what is the cost of energy to operate it for 30 days at rupees 3 per kWh

Consumed energy = power *time * hour /1000
=400*30*8/1000
=96 units
So, cost =96*3
=288 rupees
