Power=400w
Energy consumed by refrigerator in a day=P×t=400w × 8h
=3200wh
Therefore, Energy consumed by refrigerator in 30 days=3200wh × 30
=96000wh
=96kwh
So, Monthly bill=96kwh×Rs3.00 per kwh
=Rs.288.

Hope it helps you!!!

⇒ Power (P) consumed by refrigerator = 400 W

⇒ Time (t) = 8 hours per day

⇒ Total energy consumed by the refrigerator in 30 days

⇒ 400 W × 8 hr × 30 days = 96000 Wh = 96 kWh

⇒ The cost of energy to operate the refrigerator for 30 days

⇒ 96 kWh × 3.00 Rs per kWh = Rs 288
