Energy consumed = P*time = 400W * 8h = 3200Wh = 3.2KWh

souravnutty: Energy consumed is given by how much power is consumed in a given time. So, energy = power*time. And to convert Wh to KWh we divide by 1000 as 1KWh = 1000Wh
