Power = 500watts = 0.5 KW
Time = 6 hrs
KWH or units consumed = 0.5 x 6
= 3 KWH
Days = 30
So units = 30 x 3
= 90 units
Cost per unit = 4.5
Total cost = 90 x 4.5
= Rs.405

Performing multiplication

Total time = 180 hours.

So, Power in kW = 500/1000

Performing division

Power in kW = 0.5 kW

Total energy consumed = Power*time

Total energy consumed = 0.5*180

Performing multiplication

Total energy consumed = 90 kWh

Cost of energy consumption = 90*4.5

Performing multiplication

Cost of energy consumption = Rupees 405
