For example: When a car starts, petrol runs into the engine,and electric spark is given to start the engine.
In this case the engine doesn't burst

No it will not catch fire because there is no enough oxygen to burn petrol/diesel.
so for catching fire oxygen is required which is not enough inside tin ..so it will not catch fire.
