An electric toaster has a resistance of 50 ohm and draws a current of 5 ampere . Calculate
(a) the power consumed by the toaster and
(b) the potential difference applied across the ends of the toaster. ​

I = 5 A

a) P = I^2 R = (5)^2 × 50 1250 Watt.

Also,

b) V = IR = (5)(50) = 250 Volt.

P=1^2R=5^2x50 watts
