An electric train is moving north at 100mph and a wind is blowing to the west at 10mph. Which way does the smoke blow?
There is no smoke with an electric train.

The smoke is moving north at 100 mph as it exits the train but rapidly loses its momentum as it mixes with the west wind. Some of the air near the train is pulled northward and also creates swirling and eddy currents near the train, but in general, after a brief period, the smoke will just be moving with the 10 mph west wind
