Answer:

Explanation:

Solution,

Here, We have

Speed of the electric train = 126 km/h.

Converting it to km/h to m/s, We get

= 126 km/h = 126 × 5/18 = 35 m/s

Time = 30 seconds

To Find,

Distance covered = ?

Formula to be used,

Distance = Speed × Time

Here,

We know that

Distance = Speed × Time

⇒ Distance = 35 × 30

Distance = 1050 m.

Hence, the electric train will cover 1050 m.

Question

An electric train is moving with a speed of 126 km/hr. How much will it cover in 30 sec?

Solution

Speed = 126km/hr

Time = 30sec

We have to convert second into hours.

1sec =  \frac{1}{3600} h \\  = 30sec =  (\frac{1}{3600}  \times 30)h \\  =  \frac{1}{120}h

distance \:  = (speed \times time) \\  = (126 \times  \frac{1}{120})km \\  =  1.05km

If you want to change the distance from km to m, then multiply by 1000.

= (1.05×1000)m

= 1050m

Ans:- Distance is 1.05km or 1050m.
