GIVEN :-
- voltage of electric heater = 10 A.
- Current = 240 V.
TO FIND :-
- The resistance.
SOLUTION :-
By using Ohm's Law,
⇒ V = IR.
- V → voltage.
- I → current.
- R → resistance.
⇒ R = I/V
⇒ R = 240/10
⇒ R = 24 Ω.
Hence the required value of resistance 24 ohm.
______________…
Ohm's Law,
★ V = IR.
Ohm's law was invented by great German physicist "Georg simon ohm in 6 july 1854. Ohm's law states that current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage (I ∝ v) and inversely proportional to the resistance ( I ∝ 1/R).
