An electric circuit is incomplete if there is an open path in it.

• An open circuit is also known as an incomplete circuit.

• An open circuit may be intentional or non-intentional.

• The common terminology of the electrical industry is that the circuit breaker or fuse "opened" or tripped the circuit.

• If a circuit gets incomplete it is for the reason that of failure to finish some project or the final test.
