an electrical device operate at 24 volt and has a resistance of 8 ohm calculate the power consumed by device and the current flowing through it

According to ohms law V=IR so the current flowing is 24/8=3 ampere and the power is equal to I^2R then the power will be 3*3*8 which is equal to 72watt
