Potential of electric supply, V = 220 V
current drawn by electric heater I =5A
Power P = VI
220 × 5 = 1100 W
2) power P = 1100 W = 1100/1000 kW = 1.1 kW
T = 50 H
energy consumed = P × t = 1.1 × 50 = 55kWh
cost at the rate of rupees 1.50 per kWh = 55×1.50
= Rs 82.50
