I=1500/220
I=6.81A
the electric current flowing is less than the rating of fuse
if the fuse value is greater by 1.5 times then the fuse is wasted
6.81*1.5=10.215
therefore the value of fuse is greater than 1.5 times the current
So the purpose of fuse is wasted
Even if high current which is capable of damaging the circuit flows then the fuse doesn't blow off ,hence damaging the circuit.
