he gaining 1/6 of its cost price

Solution :-

Cost of room heater = 3220

He gains 1/6 of its cost price

Therefore,

Gain in room heater = 1/6 * 3220

Gain in room heater = 536.66

Hence, He gain profit of Rs536.66

Now, Calculating profit percentage

Profit % = Profit / CP * 100

Profit % = 536.66/ 3220 / 100

Profit % = 53666/ 3220

Profit % = 50/3

Profit % = 16.67

Hence, An electrician gains profit of 50/3 .
