An electrician working in your home wants to replace a blown up fuse wire by a piece of copper wire.Would you agree?Give reason for your answer

Yes I would agree to replace the blown up fuse wire by copper wire as copper is a good conductor of electricity.

Basically most of the fuse wire is made up of tin coated copper.

The reason is that it can withstand electricity to an extent up to its set levels.

no we will not agree because the material of copper is not resistive for even for flow of current ..... a better material like nichrome should be used...... as it is resistive as per our needs
