an electron beam is moving vertically upward ,if it passes through a magnetic field which is directed from north to south in a horizontal plane. Then in which direction beam will be deflected​

For positive charges you use the right hand rule. For negative charges use the left hand rule.

For electrons - put your left thumb, index finger and middle finger at 90 degrees to each other. Your index finger represents the magnetic field and your middle finger represents the direction of motion of the electron. Your thumb will indicate the direction of force.

Index finger points at the northern horizon, middle finger points straight up thus the force will be to the left, or west.
