An electron enters a magnetic field at right angles to it as shown in figure the direction of the force acting on the electron will be determined by which rule, state the rule. Find the direction of force acting on electron also. What if the beam of neutrons entering the field in same direction of electron.

Direction of force is perpendicular to the direction of magnetic field and current. 

Thus direction of force is opposite to electron motion into the page at 90°
