Simple

By equations of motion,

v ^{2}  = u {}^{2}  + 2as

u=0

a=eE/m

s=d

v=sqr(0+2eEd/m)

v=sqr(2eEd/m)

=>v=sqr(2eV/m)

where e-charge of electron

d-distance travelled

E- external electric field.

V-potential difference

sqr() -squareroot of

Hope this helps you
