Given,

Electric field intensity= 1000 N/C

To find,

The force acting on the electron

Solution,

We can simply solve this numerical problem by using the subsequent process

Now,

Electric field Intensity (E) = 1000 N/C

Charge of electron (qe) = -1.602×10⁻¹⁹C

Force (F) = ?

As we know that,

F = qeE

where,

F = Force, qe= Charge of electron, & E = Electric field

F = 1000 N/C × (-1.602×10⁻¹⁹) C

F = -1.602×10⁻¹⁶ N

Hence, the force acting on the electron is -1.602×10⁻¹⁶ N
