OXIDES OF METALS ARE ALWAYS BASIC

OXIDES OF NON MEATALS ARE ALWAYS ACIDIC....

FROM THE EXPERIMENT OF GIVEN ELEMENT BLUE LITMUS TURNS RED.....

MEANS THE OXIDE WAS ACIDIC ....

⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕

IT LITERALLY MEANS THAT THE ELEMENT IS

====>. NON METAL. <====

FOR EXAMPLE ANY OXIDE OF A NON METAL .....

as we know metal oxide the basic in nature and nonmetal or acidic, as the blue litmus is turned red, the solution is acidic which indicates that the element is a non metal. one such element it is Sulphur
