Answer:

protons=29

electronic configuration=2,8,8,8,3

Explanation:

number of electrons=number of protons

for electronic configuration:

1. if possible, minus the number of electrons by 2 without getting a negative value

2. if possible, minus the value that is subtracted by 2 and subtracted it by 8 without getting negative value

3. keep doing it till it gives out negative value

example:

29-2=27

27-8=19

19-8=11

11-8=3

if 3 is subtracted by 8 it gives negative value so leave 3 as valency electron

the electron configuration will be 2,8,8,8,3

Answer:

no protons is equal to no electron so 29 photos the configuration is [Ar]4s1 3d10 for stable atom but expected is [Ar]4s2 3d9 . [Ar]4s1 3d10 is stable because half filled orbitals are stable
