mass number =27

since it is a neutral atom
therefore
number of protons = number of electrons=13

hence there will be 13 electrons.

its electronic configuration will be

2,8,3

or

1s2, 2s2,2p6,3s2,3p1.

These electrons are arranged according to the capacity of the shell ..and no. Of shells are decided on the basis of valence electrons

Hence, the atomic no. Is 13 so its electronic configuration is 2,8,3 therefore there will be 3 shells and the last shell will contain 3 electrons ..
