NUMBER OF NEUTRON = MASS NO. - NO . OF PROTON
EX: In C-12 isotope
mass = 12 , no. of proton = 6
no. of neutron = 12 - 6 =6
BUT,
In C-14 isotope of carbon
mass = 14 , no of proton = 6
no. of neutron = 14–6 = 8
EX: In C-12 isotope
mass = 12 , no. of proton = 6
no. of neutron = 12 - 6 =6
BUT,
In C-14 isotope of carbon
mass = 14 , no of proton = 6
no. of neutron = 14–6 = 8
