An element reacts with oxygen to form an oxide which dissolves in water to form a solution that turns blue litmus red. The oxide disslove in NaOH to form salt and water.The element is:

a.Sodium
b.Sulphur
c.Magnesium
d.Aluminium

It's option b

because the only non metal present here it's sulphur...and the non-metal oxides are acidic in nature.

S+O2=SO2

SO2+H2O=H2SO3

H2SO3+2NaOH=Na2SO3+2H2O
