Valency => +3
Compound name => Aluminum chloride
Compound formula => AlCl3

● Explanation -
Since element belongs to 3rd period and 13th group it must be Aluminum (Al).

Electronic configuration of element is roughly 2, 8, 3. Thus this element can lose 3 valence electrons and have valency +3.

Valency of X i.e. Al is 3 & that of Cl is 1. Thus compound formed is aluminum chloride (AlCl3).
