a) Since the element belong to group 16 its number of valence electrons will be 6.

b) The element X is sulphur and the molecular formula with hydrogen will be H2S. The valency of element X is 2. ( For electron dot structure see the figure)

c) Element X is Sulphur, it is non-metal.
