i. Find the valency of X

ii. Name the above element and draw the atomic structure of the same.

(i) atomic no. =8

so, electronic configuration =2,6

they want 2more electron's to complete it's octave

therefore, valency =2

(ii)

oxygen (O2)

atomic structure you can draw at yourself in 1st shell fill 2e- and in 2nd make 6e-

(iii) 2
