\huge\mathbb{\blue{QUESTION-}}

An element x has atomic mass 27 and atomic number 13 draw the atomic structure of an atom x when it loses 3 electron.

\huge\mathbb{\blue{SOLUTION-}}

\large\underline{\underline{\sf Given:}}

  • Atomic mass of x = 27
  • Atomic number of x = 13

i.e element is \sf{ Al_{13}^{27}}

  • Element loses 3 electron.

\large\underline{\underline{\sf To\:Find:}}

  • Atomic structure of new element.

Now ,

Al electronic configuration is

1s² 2s² \sf{2p^6} 3s² 3p¹

After losing three electrons it's configuration changes to -

1s² 2s² \sf{2p^6} .
