If Y is an element having valency 4 i.e. has 4 valance electron then the possible formation of compunds or molecules are,

1. YCl4 - Here 4 chlorine molecules must make bond as tetrachloride, with it to form a stable compound.

2. YF4 - As above here also forming tetraflouride with the element will make a stable compound.

3. YO2 - As oxygen has valency 2 dioxide must be formed with the element.

4. Y3(NO3)4 - As nitrate ion has 3valency as a whole, 4 nitrate ion and 3 Y elements must combine to equally share 12 electrons to form a stable compound.

5. Y(SO4)2 - Twosulphate ion must combine to forma stable compound.

6. Y3(HCO3)4 - It willform same as nitrate ion with Y element.
