Given that mass=35 and Neutrons=18.
Mass = No. of protons + No. of neutrons
So, no of protons =35-18=17.
Atomic number = No of protons = 17.
Orbitals are filled as 2,8,8,18.
For element having number 17, it is filled as 2,8,7. So, it belongs in third period, and due to it being an obvious P block element, group number is 17 ( as 18 is argon which is noble gas). More specifically, the atom is an isotope of Chlorine.
