an elephant has a weight of 600000N.If it stands on one foot having on area of 0.1m² find the pressure exerted on the ground . with correct answer​

Explanation: Given data

Area of one foot = 0.1m^2

so the area of the 4 feet of elephant= 4×0.1 = 0.4m^2

Weight of elephant or the Force exerted by elephant on the ground = 60000N

As we know that Pressure = Force/Area

so, Evaluating the calculated data

Pressure = 60000/0.4 = 1,50,000 N/m^2
