when we place the animals in a food chain their level is decided on the basis of the type of food they eat other they are the primary consumers secondary consumers are the tertiary once since we know that the animal elephant and squirrel different size but still the elephant is a herbivore and the Squirrel is also a herbivore that is the reason why they occupy the same level in the food chain
