Given:-

  • Mass = 4000 Kg

  • Pressure ,p = 22 n/cm²

To Find:-

  • Area of the foot , a

Solution:-

Firstly we convert the unit here

1 n/cm² = 10000 Pa

∴ 22n/cm² = 22/10000 = 0.0022 Pa

Now ,

As we know that the acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s²

∴ Force = mass× acceleration

→ F = 4000×9.8 = 39200 N

• Area = Force/Pressure

→ a = F/p

→ a = 39200/0.0022

→ a = 39200×10000/22

→ a = 17818181 .81 m²

The Area of the foot is 17818181.81 .
