GiveN :-

  • An elephant weighing 240 kg is standing on three legs .
  • The surface area of each foot is 20 cm².

To FinD :-

  • The pressure exerted by elephant on the floor .

SolutioN :-

Given that a elephant standing on three legs having a weight of 240 kg has a surface area of 20 cm² of each foot . We need to find the Pressure . We know that the force acting per unit area is called Pressure . So , area of one foot is 20 cm² therefore the area of 3 feet will be 60 cm² . So that ,
