☆ Given:-

  • Power of bulb (p) {i.e. enrgy cosumed by buld} = 1000W

  • Time (t) = 15 min = 15×60 sec = 900 seconds.

☆ To find:-

  • Heat generated in 15 minutes.

☆ Now,

We know that,

= Heat (H) = I²RT ----eq(1)

Also,

=》 V = IR ----eq(2)

So putting V in place of IR in eq(1) we get,

=》 H = VIT. ----eq(4)

Also,

=》 Power (P) = VI.

Therefore by putting P in place of VI in eq(4) we get,

=》 H = PT

=》 H = 1000 × 900.

=》 H = 9,00,000 Joule

Therefore Heat generated by the bulb in 15 minutes is 9,00,000 Joule.
