Since acceleration is constant, wecan use equations of motion
v²-u²=2as
0²-(12)² = -2a(42)
{I am taking upward direction as positive, negative sign is used for displacement}
=> a=12/7
T-mg = ma
T-16000=1600×(12/7)
T=16000+2742.85
T=18742.85 N
