An elevator descend into mine shaft at the rate of 6m/min. If
the descend starts from 10 m above the ground level, how long
wall it take to reach-400 m?​

First we will calculate the distanve covered.

As, it started from 10m from ground level and reached 400 m, total distance covered

= | -400 m +10 m |

= l -390 m |

= 390 m

Now we have

Distance = 390 m

Speed = 6m/min

So time taken

 =  \frac{distance}{speed}

 = \frac{390}{6}

 = 65 \: minute
