Answer:

Distance descended is denoted by a negative integer,

Initial height =+10 m

Final Depth =−350 m

Total distance to be descended by the elevator =(−350)−(+10)=−360 m

Given, the time is taken by the elevator to descend −6 m=1 minute

Thus, time taken by the elevator to descend −360 m=(−6)(−360) ------- [from the formula : speed=timedistance]

=60 minutes

Answer:

1 hour

Step-by-step explanation:

distance to be covered= 350+10m

=360m

given speed of elevator= 6m/min

time= distance÷speed

time=360÷6

=60min= 1 hour

hope it helps,
